I work in retail so good customer service is very important to me, which is why I prefer small businesses rather than large franchise companies, Old Town Auto Care proved my thinking to be correct. Jason and John didn't just settle for good customer service, they went above and beyond and provided me with hands down the best service I have ever recieved. About a week ago my brakes started squeaking and then they locked up on me while driving on the freeway and that was when I knew I needed to fix them, I have a shop I go to where I live but I work in this area and needed them done that day. I saw their reviews on Yelp and gave them a call. Jason answered the phone with such a warmth and kindness in his voice, and after explaining my situation they let me know that I could bring my car in at noon and they would look at it and have it fixed that night, I was ecstatic. The minute I walked into the shop I was greeted with huge smiles and cheerful "hellos" from both Jason and John. We went over the usual paperwork and they let me know they would inspect my brakes and let me know the problem, and then offered me a ride back to work which I was very happy about. About an hour later I got a call letting me know that both my front and rear brakes needed to be completely replaced. John broke down the price for me and then asked my permission to fix the car. The fact that they asked my permission instead of just assuming that I wanted to pay the money was incredible to me, I have been to so many shops that have just automatically assumed I wanted them to fix everything. With the great service I recieved so far I knew I had found the right place and gave them the OK to continue the work. Not only did they stay after hours to finish the work, they even stayed an extra 45 minutes to wait for me to get off work and get there. When I arrived John went over everything with me and even showed me the parts they took off, he explained what the problem was in a way I could understand without making me feel incompetent. I knew replacing my brakes was not going to be cheap but with the service I recieved here I was more than happy to give them my business. I will surely be recommending them to anyone and will be coming back here for any future services my car needs, it will be well worth the drive from where I live. The employees here at Old Town Auto Care truly make you feel valued as a customer and that is priceless Thank you so much John and Jason!

Jason and John are Awesome. Took my car there for some electrical work. They fixed it right away; the price was great. These people are so honest. Jason calls me the next day to tell me he forgot to let me know when he picked up the car that he accidentally broke a plastic piece in my trunk. However, he assured me he ordered the piece from Mercedes and I could bring the car in the next day and he would install it. I would never had known that he had done this had he not been honest and let me know. I will definitely be going back to this company. Awesome!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

John and Jason are absolutely wonderful and very honest. I just came in for an oil change (at a great price may I add) but they diagnosed the problem with my air conditioning as well for free and laid down the parts and labor honestly and fairly. I am quite skeptical of auto body shops but not these guys. I will definitely be back again.

I have lived in Pleasanton since 1978 and this is one of the few auto repair shops in the area that I will go to! I am confident they will not overcharge nor recommend repairs unless they are needed. John and Jason are both down to earth guys who not only care about their customers but charge a fair price for their quality work! I would recommend them to anyone looking for a friendly and reliable auto repair service!

Well, this was interesting, I've spent the last hour and a half on the phone with auto mechanics to try to get my husband's 2001 Beetle in the shop. Old Town was the first one to answer the phone and TALK to me. Jason explained that he does service Beetles and explained pricing. After all the bad experiences this morning, I really liked his helpful attitude. We'll see how it goes this afternoon! On Tuesday afternoon, they took the care quickly and explained what they'd do. Called me that afternoon to give me an update and explained that they'd do. Then they ASKED if they could keep the care overnight! The car was done when they said and for a plotless than I'd originally feared. I'll definitely go back in future. They were polite and unbelievably patient. Great job!

I just brought my car here the other day when my check engine light came on and my car started driving roughly. They got my car right in, and had the car fixed by the next day. Their prices were very reasonable and their service was outstanding. I would highly recommend them to anyone looking for an honest and reliable place to bring their car. I will most definitely be using them for all future work on my vehicle.
