Yes...5 stars......I have a truck that needed shocks, tires, and it turns out a radiator as well.... I actually live in san jose but had a hard time finding a mechanic i could trust here in town. I happened to stumble across old town auto by word of mouth through someone i know who has taken their car there and was pleased so i decided why not give them a try even though the shop is about 20 miles from me.....Well I can tell you it was WORTH it. Both jason and his father john were excellent and professional from start to finish. My truck is my baby and they did an awesome job. I Was so pleased with their service I ended up taking our company truck to them as well. This truck was in bad shape and is a diesel (in case your wondering if they work on diesels) just picked it up today!!!!! Guess what....runs like new!!! This father and son team bring back the old school customer service (you know the kind where they dont try to BS you or fix things that are not broken).... I highly recommend to anyone looking for an honest mechanic which are few and far between. Thanks guys....

These guys are mech warriors. They've got the know-how and the can-do attitude. I had to go in to get a belt replaced and not only did they replace it for almost 50% less than others, they also showed me what was wrong with it and what to look out for. They were both very friendly and i felt like i could trust them with something as important as my car. I was beyond satisfied and so i mentioned i needed some tune ups done to my car and that the dealership was charging about 1000+ for servicing it. They laughed, checked out what needed to be done and said they would do it for 300. 300. These guys are my new heroes. No more worrying about shifty overpriced sticky fingered mechanics. My search for the perfect mechanics is over.

I have looked far and wide for a repair shop I can trust for servicing my '96 Chevy Suburban. I had Old Town Auto Care trouble shoot a "fuel pump or EGR Valve" issue. The main operational systems and smog test results pointed towards the EGR Valve needing to be replaced. Old Town determined that there was a sporadic shorting out of a wire under the fuse box with the fuel pump relay. This was great trouble shooting. I also had my air conditioning serviced. At a follow up visit, I had my starter motor replaced. All of the services were performed very professionally at a fair price. Thanks John and Jason! !
